A-Tisket-a-Purseket
When I first read about the Pursket in Sophia’s blog, I thought, “How neat!” How many times have you rummaged through your bag to look for something? You either dump everything out of your bag to find it or you just give up. Granted, I only carry the bare essentials in my bag (no make up bag, sunglasses or cellphone), I still like being organized. So I promptly ordered one for myself. I got it in the mail recently and I love it!

I got the small, which has five pockets and is just right for my handbag essentials. The little pockets are great for those tiny things you carry everyday like your lipstick, keys or contact lens case. The pockets can even fit a checkbook, a tiny notebook or a cellphone. The first time I used it I was amazed at how I was able to reach for my bag, dig in and find what I wanted in two seconds without looking. That’s because with a Purseket, there’s a place for everything. You know exactly where your things are. It’s also made of a stain resistant material called terylene with 15% cotton mixed in. And it comes in several adorable swatches you can choose from.

The Purseket wraps around inside the bag. Bigger pieces like a wallet go in the bag’s empty space in the middle. Another advantage to having a Purseket is that it makes switching bags a breeze. I used to switch bags a lot but it became a hassle when I would leave something important in the other bag. So now, problem solved!
Be aware, though, that the wrap around style might make flat bags like my LV Damier Soho (see above) look a bit bulky. I might have to order the Drop In style for my Soho instead. Otherwise, it’s a great handbag organizer and crafty DIYers can even make one of their own.

I need one of those. I hate having to dig in my bag to find what I need. And it will make switching bags easier.

P.S. Have you noticed that your sidebar categories are overlapping with the ads? or is it just my browser?

Hi, I enjoyed reading your blog. I sell these (check out my website) here in Australia. Just a pointer…the pockets need to face INWARDS, and that’s why your bag looks bulky. Facing the pockets outwards damages the inner support. The purseket should curl around your bag, pockets facing each other. Aren’t they the BEST invention? I love mine!
