So I happened to be in Pasadena this weekend. I thought to stop by H&M, the Swedish chain’s first store in Southern California. I thought the store was located in the mall. But of course not. It was in hip and happening Old Town Pasadena, that’s where it is! Someone told me there were lines outside the store and it was true.
Look at all these hardcore shoppers, waiting patiently in line for their turn to browse inside the store.
The line even extended around the corner.
I decided, nah. I’ll just wait until the excitement dies down and then go. Perhaps when the Viktor and Rolf line comes out in November 9? Probably a bad idea.
Anyhow, if you need to go it’s at 60 West Colorado Boulevard, right next to Tiffany & Co.

this is why i love living near new york. there are like 3 h&m’s within a couple blocks of eachother.

we are slowly getting more of them. by the end of the year we will have three in the l.a. area. i’m not sure what to make of h&m though since i’ve only been there once (not in l.a.)and was not very impressed (unlike zara or mango).

i loveee h&m.. but thats also because im 18 and have no money. my favorite chain store would have to be topshop tho, and i heard that’s coming to new york soon, too!
