Quilted Ballet Flats
I was going to post this about a month ago (I saved the pictures and all) but, for some reason, forgot to publish it. Sophia’s posts on ballet flats reminded me. And since I’ve now got my quilted bag, what better way to wear them with but with quilted ballet flats? Haha. Too matchy huh. But then you gotta love quilted ballet flats. They have an understated elegance about them that says look at me without being flashy.

I love these gold quilted leather flats from MARC by Marc Jacobs. It’s got a black patent leather trim at the toe and a black grosgrain ribbon laced through sides and a bow on the vamp. The 1/2 inch heel adds a bit of height. Super cute and on sale too. But unfortunately, not in my size.

These metallic Juicy Couture “Melody” Quilted Ballet shoes look young and fresh. The leather tie is adjustable.

These French Sole “Passport” Quilted Ballet Slippers are camel and black patent and are more classic looking than the Marc Jacobs ballet shoes.

Here’s another one from French Sole that are very classic looking. They are 40% off at Bluefly.com.

These Cole Haan “Air Beau” Mary Janes look more sporty than ballet but the quilt is a happy medium between the two. A bonus feature is that they are enhanced with Nike Air Technology.

Now how can we not talk about quilted ballet flats and not mention the granddaddy of them all, the Chanel Cambon Ballet Shoe? Tres chic and, hands down, THE quilted ballet shoe to have if you can afford it.
