Rory Crocheted Ballerina Slipper

January 13th, 2007 Posted in Shoes

Look what I just found: Reva’s cousin, Rory. I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw “Rory” despite looking like the more famous “Reva” but yes, that’s her name. This tan crocheted fabric ballerina shoe from Tory Burch is yet another incarnation of the Reva. I’m amazed with the restraint that variations of this runaway hit is being produced because by now, you would think that they would have made it in all colors and materials possible as legions of fans would just snap it up immediately. Remember the Reva in leopard? That sold out as soon as they hit the shelves. And quickly found their way to eBay, I should add.

Have they thought of denim? or yellow (not mustard)? I guess I shouldn’t complain as we don’t want everyone and their mother wearing it and then quickly tire of it just like Seven for All Mankind jeans. Haha. At any rate, if you purchase this online at Bergdorf Goodman by 1/23/07, before 8AM CT to be precise, you’ll get this free Tory Burch Lucite logo bracelet.
