At the Peter Som Fall 2007 runway, New York Fashion Week.
Not quite the same. Maybe inspired.
OK. I just really love this multi pendant swing necklace from Bea Valdes that I would buy it if:
- I could afford it,
- I had an occasion to wear it, and
- I have a long neck to wear it well.
So if I spot an opportunity to post it, I will. Sorry, Peter Som.

Sorry, this is off-topic; have you had any problems with shipments from ShopDolceVita?
I ordered a pair of boots the day you posted about their sale and haven’t received them yet. They don’t even have a tracking number up. My bank account was debited and when I call the 800 number it goes to voice mail. Last week Thursday a guy picked up and said he’ll check with the LA warehouse and then email me back. Haven’t heard from him since. Do you know if anybody else having problems or was I just the unlucky one?

Whoa! That necklace is HUGE! God knows, I would LOVE it. I am the queen of buying basics, but I jazz everything up with brightly colored costume jewelry.
Shop, any good sales on jackets going on? I just got back to the states and am FREEZING!

Linda - Sorry I didn’t buy anything from them recently. Try checking with shophappy.typepad.com. I think they ordered a few pairs. Let me know how it went.
Yummi - Yeah, I can’t realistically wear this necklace as it’s a bit over-the-top but I LOVE IT! As for jackets/coats, the sales were last month. Try checking Zara if you have one nearby or Shopbop online. I know Shopbop has a sale going on right now.

Linda - If you happen to come back here and check this again…I didn’t have any problems with shopdolcevita.com when I ordered, but I would definitely keep calling. That’s really weird. If you still don’t here back from them in a bit, let me know. I know a couple reps at that showroom I could try to harass about it. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your responses ladies.
I haven’t heard anything from them. I even called the NY store a rep gave me an office number to try. That line has a constant busy signal. I tried the LA office and spoke to “Erin” who told me I should just wait because they get about 500 orders a day. I just got irritated with her attitude because it’s been over 2 weeks and hung up. The sad think is I do want those boots and am willing to wait only if they update me on the status.
