Let’s Go Shopping: At Zara
Zara has stocked their spring clothes in the stores already. Too bad there’s not much to see on their website, which still has photos of winter coats. So I took my camera with me and tried on a few dresses. Yes, only dresses and most of them in prints. I’m getting ready for spring, I tell ya! Here they are with my random comments.

Zara’s take on Diane Von Furstenburg’s Payne dress. Nice colors. The grosgrain ribbon strap looks awkward when worn though. Bra strap can show.

Halter dress with a drawstring ribbon by the neckline. Nice print.

I didn’t try this on. I picked it up because of the colors but then decided I didn’t want to wear it at the fitting room. It will look great worn alone as a dress or as a top with slim fitting pants.

A nice, simple bubble dress with a vibrant design.

I really like this brown dress. It’s a shirt dress and flouncy skirt combined. It felt a bit tight around the chest when I tried this on though.

I like the dropped puff sleeves or whatever you call it. The print is nice too. The dress fit like a tent though. I would have tried a smaller size if only it was available.

Where have I seen this design before? On style.com? I tried looking but could not find it. I like the ruching on the sleeves and hem. It makes a simple shift dress more interesting.

This dress also appears inspired. From where? I’m not sure. I like the horizontal pleating on the bodice and the resulting puff sleeves. The material is made of cotton. It would be interesting to see this in the same material as the black dress before this.
I was going to post specific prices as well but I’ve forgotten them all! These dresses range from $89 – $129. I didn’t buy anything as I was feeling a bit bloated then and the ones I fancied fit a bit tighter than I would have liked. I might go back for the brown dress though.
