Philip Green, the owner of Arcadia plc, which is a small cluster of companies, and like brands, with Topshop and the up and coming Miss Selfridge being the key hub of the company. yes anyway, Philip Green has secured a 90'000 sq foot store in New York, set to open later this year. if it is to take off, im sure it will spread soon. because really and truly, its only rival will be Forver 21, H&M and Zara. which it already takes on two. and competition is usually a good thing. on a more personal note, Pull and Bear is a brand to look out for. i have no time for abercrombie and fitch, it is plain and far too 'branded' look out for Warehouse and Oasis. which are also rumoured to be setting up shop in Europe and the U.S, as is New Look and Republic/Schuh, as a merger eith G-Star is on the cards.
