Would You Wear A Turban?
The fash pack have been wearing Prada satin turbans or a modified version of it for several weeks now. The Prada turbans are quite pricey for a passing fad at $300 $600 or more so I knew it was only a matter of time before lower priced versions would be available.
First off, is this M by Madonna for H&M jersey turban. Only $12.90 but already sold out everywhere.
Our favorite fast fashion chain does not disappoint. Forever 21’s satin headwrap looks very similar to the modified version worn by Ashley Olsen. They also come in brown and cream satin and a commitment free price of $5.80. And should you be iffy wearing it ala Ashley, you can also wear it as a headband.
Finally, here are cotton jersey “turban headbands” from ShopIntuition. They are not satin or even jewel toned like Prada’s but they come in fun spring colors and are $35.
So tell me, would you wear a turban this spring? Yay or nay?

Rachel Roy looks like someone just let her out of a magic lamp and MK looks like Axl Rose. I’m going to pass on this trend. Bring on the Marc Jacobs cloches!

I think Ashley Olsen looks cute with the headwrap and I would definitely wear one of those. I might buy a low-priced turban and seriously consider wearing it but I probably would chicken out and not end up wearing one out. I’m a big fan of headgear and just bought an adorable handmade cloche from a small boutique.

Mallory, I’m hunting for the F21 versions. My only problem is my hair is dark and I only want the black ones. We’ll see.

i rocked a turban two weeks ago in dc and i got sooo many compliments about how cool it looked! and the best part i made it myself so i can easily transform it into i a scarf when im over this trend!

i forgot to mention - i got all three colors at f21 10 days ago. i haven’t worn them yet though.
