   I ordered mine the other day and they gave me the option to pick up…although I opted for the shipping b/c they said that only 10 people will be able to enter the store at a time and security will be monitoring the line.

   I live in England, UK…
   Do you think I could call the boutiques and pre-order two, or as Im an overseas customer, would I have to wait til the internet pre-order form is put up?
   Any idea anyone?

   They just released them in Sainsbury’s in the U.K. Or do you prefer the U.S. version? I tried calling to inquire about this but could not get a live person. Will let you know when I get word but if anyone knows, leave a comment please!

    Thanks for the response – yeah, the ones in Sainsburys sold out nationwide in 5 mins this morning, and with my local store only having 30 to sell, and queues of over 100, was unable to get one… now the only way seems to be on eBay for at least £100/$200…
    the US versions are BEAUTIFUL! Id love to get one.

    Hey ladies! I’m based in London(UK) and also find myself desperate for a ‘im not a plastic bag’ I called the New York store yesterday and was informed that they are no longer accpeting pre-orders and even if they did, they don’t allow any one outside the States to do so!

    Does anyone know the policy of the internet list on the 7th of May? Would I be able to get one if I pre-register online? Also with the time difference would I have to go online at a certain time to ensure i get one? Would there be a limit? Price for packaging?

    I know this is a ridiculous amount of questions but I’m aboslutley obsessed and determined to get one! I appreciate any anwsers any of mt fellow bag devotees can give me.

    I called two weeks ago and they had stopped accepting orders. I am so dissappointed! If anyone has an extra that they are willing to sell for a reasonable, not ebay, price let me know. I have been sewing my own grocery bags for a year now and would love to have this one that makes more of a statement. Thanks!

    Hello everyone else who is in love with this bag. Im from the U.K. Does anyone know when you can pre-order the U.S one’s yet? sorry if im being needy, i just love it. Is it definate that if we order on line that we will get it, or are there limited ones like in the U.K.?

    shopdiary – i called the anya hindmarch store. they confirmed that online pre-orders will commence on may 7 and they recommend that you register with their website prior to may 7 so that you can get notifications via e-mail.

    On May 2n, there was a special 100 limited edition for the US edition. I managed to pre-order one, and I live in Canada. I’m very happy, but the shipping was quite expensive…
    Ron Herman stores online and in real life will be selling more. Fred Segal boutiques in LA as well.
    Canadian shoppers should look out for Holt Renfrew as they will be the only retailer to carry them in Canada.

    I was on the edge of my seat all of yesterday waiting for the site to open to pre=order a bag. Went on, and as could have been predicted-I couldn’t get into site! I kept trying for 45minutes and eventually got a bag in my shopping cart. I was delighted! However, once I’ve entered my bank details, it wouldn’t let me go through to the final checkout and the site crashed!! I tried in vain for the next 20minutes and eventually just got a ’sold out’ window popping up. Needless to say, I’m devastated. Hope everyone else had better luck. xx

    shopdiary: I did the same too but couldn’t get past entering my shipping info. I called them and they wouldn’t say but I believe there will be a similar event before June 20. Perhaps May 30? Stay tuned. But don’t forget that anyahindmarch.com will Have you registered with them yet?

    Hi

    I too was one of the unlucky ones on Wednesday, RH download the bag info at 6.30 instead of 6pm.

    Anyho, thanks to other blogger sites i managed to leave my details with RH – melrose, and i hear that RH South Coast Plaza are doing a waiting list too.

    The Lavender Trust have the version in lilac – £78 (inc p&p) for breast cancer awareness.

    Lastly, there is the Anya Hindmarch website towards the end of May – but people are already phoning these stores ahead to leave their details.

    Go to the The Lavender Trust site and click on contact us and leave a message someone will get back to you with the necessary details.

    Also there is the last hope of the anya site towards the end of May – but no definite date has been set – bummer. With two days to go: no one has a crumb regarding the notification emails.

    Its not in the cards for me to get one. Ron Herman called to get my credit number only to get a call telling me they made a mistake. Fred Segal Flair also took my name and assured me i could buy 2. When the date got closer i called again. She then said that the people on the wait list would only get a bag if there was any unsold bags. I told her that was ridiculous it would sell in a heart beat…anyway forget the bag…there are many reusable bags…..

    Paid $250 for my bag.. how would u know if its fake? is it just canvass in the inside or suede? wow! this bag cost me a lot, but friends and i were willing to pay for it..no matter how much the cost
