Gap’s Design Editions
April 17th, 2007 Posted in Fashion

Gap’s limited edition collection of white shirts for women has debuted today. Designed exclusively for Gap by three emerging labels and winners of the 2006 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund - Doo.Ri, Rodarte and Thakoon - the line features unique interpretations of the classic white shirt. The designs are available from $68 - $88 online and in major Gap stores in the U.S. And they are going fast! I just checked online and sizes XS and S for all items in this line are already sold out. Incidentally, this collection is prominently featured and worn by top models on the cover of American Vogue’s May 2007 issue.
Does this make you want to go shopping at the Gap again?

Yes, it does! I love both of the short sleevers from Thakoon and Doo Ri, and am utterly SHOCKED that they’re still available in an XL.

I might check out the Gap in person now…the Rodarte stuff is by far the cutest.

Tried on the Rodarte trapeze tank (all they had left was medium) and dress (small). Both looked terrible on me. The Rodarte bow tank was sold out. Obvi. Sigh. I miss the Gap of 2004-2005. Remember how much cute stuff they had?
