Happy Birthday To Me!!!
This is another reason I ran out of the Mike & Chris sample sale empty handed. I couldn’t wait to get my birthday gift! I drove straight to Barneys to pick it up as I had already paid for it two days earlier.
It took me awhile to decide that I wanted a Goyard. I first saw a Goyard two years ago but I couldn’t get myself to splurge on a painted, coated and logoed canvas bag. How times have changed!
By the time I knew what style and color I wanted for sure, the price increase in November 2006 had taken effect. So I decided to to take advantage of Barney’s Purple Card and patiently waited until a few weeks ago when I started calling for a red Croisière 35. The bad news was they didn’t get one until this Tuesday, two days after the Purple Card promo expired. The good news is that Dawn, the SA who knew how much I wanted this bag, got me the Purple Card after approval from her manager. Yippee!
Long story short, it’s mine! And just in time for my birthday!

Happy birthday, girl! And I disagree with sheena - I’m not partial to Goyard but that bag is really really cute! Love the red and the shape is less blah than others I’ve seen.

LOVE the red. I think you made a fabulous choice! Painted canvas, logo or not, this is still a classic bag. It’s always nice own a bag that represents different brands 
at least i like to do that! Congrats!
