From GenLux June/July 2007:

The LA designer resale institution, decadestwo, will double in size, taking over a bookstore that went out of business. Not only will you want to buy more of their archival Prada, Chanel and Balenciaga, you’ll have all the more reason to sell your own designer pieces because there’s going to be twice the foot of traffic. “We have 1,800 consigners from around the world,” says owner Christos Garkinos. “And we have shipments of Tom Ford for YSL and Gucci pieces, vintage Isaac Mizrahi and Ric Owens on its way in.”

Savvy shoppers in Los Angeles can now enjoy an expanded and exclusive selection of contemporary pieces from top designers – from dresses to handbags, outerwear to footwear. Menswear is also enjoying an increased presence on the racks, and an all-new jewelry bar has made its debut. Online shoppers can enjoy a revamped web experience, including access to bid on items not for sale in-store, as well as a blog from Christos and Cameron, steeped in designer appreciation and knowledge.

decadestwo will celebrate its expansion on July 18 at 8214 Melrose Avenue.
