Would You Wear Pantyhose?

Pantyhose. I thought I would never hear that word again. But as noted by L.A. Times, flesh toned stockings were spotted on recent runway shows and seems to be making a comeback. Say it ain’t so! I love bare legs especially in the scorching heat of summer. I can’t even imagine wearing them with open-toed shoes, as required of UPS’ female corporate staff. But I am not opposed to them as long as they are not the thick, granny-type hose. Thank goodness I work at a place with a business casual dress code that does not require wearing pantyhose everyday!

I am SO happy to see pantyhose back!! I am a 32 year old female who has always worn. I think the problem with women wearing is they are still stuck in the “not comfortable” stage. Todays hose are MUCH more comfortable and so many great styles from Europe. Try a pair of Pretty Polly, Cecilia Da Rafeal, or Wolford, you will change your mind too!!

there are only a few that can truely get away with the bare leg look, hosiery is like make up, only for your legs vs. your face. It really finishes the look and makes the legs look so much better, smooth and finishes the outfit.

To me pantyhose are one of the greatest inventions ever. I find them very comfortable and make my legs look great. I also believe that only about 5% of women look better with bare legs and they are all under 25 years old. For gosh sakes ladies, look in the mirror! Back in fashion? For me, they never left.

you all may think it alittle weird but i’m a guy that loves to wear pantyhose. been wearing since i was 5 and in todays styles they are much more comfy and sexy. specially wolford’s seamless.

No matter what the trend is, it doesn’t change the fact that our legs look better in hose. I’ve seen firsthand how men seem mesmerized by my legs in hose/heels, while their wives sneer at me. The whole point to dressing sexy and using makeup is to look your best in front of the opposite sex. And the fact that women now have talked themselves into believing that bare legs, love handles and flipflops are somehow alluring, just makes me getting the looks of their men, that much easier. lol I would have to have a calculator to keep track of how many men, in person and online, tell me they wished their women would wear hose. I’m also aware of how women don’t hesitate to spend top dollar on other garments, then complain about the feel/fit of a $1.50 pair of hose. You get what you pay for.

I can understand no hose in the heat of summer girls/ladies but I think the bare leg trend has gone way too far. I was at a wedding last night and it was thirty degrees outside and most of the women were going bare leg.
It doesn’t look nearly as sexy as hose. Pantyhose rock girls!!! Wear them when you can!!!

I think women have been convinced by the New York fashionistas that anyone can and SHOULD go barelegged. Although there are some who can indeed do it, I think they are in the extreme minority IMO. There are a lot of women walking around with their bare legs showing that, honestly, I wish they had worn something. Their legs look hideous and they look ridiculous trying to follow this silly trend. And don’t get me started on those open toe shoes. I know because I don’t have the legs or toes to pull off either and I’m happy NOT to share it openly with the world. I REALLY wish others were equally considerate. YUCK!
The other point is cost. I hear how my co-workers don’t “waste” money buying hose, yet they are spending loads of money on tanning salons, self tanners, leg moisturizers, waxings, pedicures. Seems I spend a lot less money and time on my legs slipping on a pair of hose than they do “saving money” by going bare. And at the end of the day I look better. I’m an accountant, so its simple math. I say save your time, money and dignity.

I am not a woman. However, I think that women look more professional in stockings; not to mention drop dead sexy.

Its great to see the positive comments about pantyhose. Something that is not seen from the other sites as women, the media, and fashionistas continue to bash pantyhose, and the women who wear them. When they make negative, derogatory, ignorant, and immature comments towards pantyhose, it show them a lack of class, respect, and mannerism towards woman who love wearing hose. The anti-hose even forced women to stop wearing hose altogether just like giving into peer pressure.
All this talk that women don’t wear pantyhose anymore, pantyhose is dead, and any excuses such as they itch, cause yeast infections and cause runs on the legs is just complete falsehood and laziness from women who don’t find the right size and style of hose.
Pantyhose makes a woman’s legs look classy, flawless, professional, and sexy. Even though bare legs may be sexy if the legs are tanned and smooth, they are not polished as pantyhose. Not all women can even pull off the bare leg look if the legs are pasty white, blotchy, and have marks such as scares, moles, or veins on them. Seeing that look on the legs are hideous, unproffessional, and tacky.
Woman should continue to wear hose, and not worry about the negative comments made about pantyhose by the brainless and immature fashionistas.

PANTYHOSE RULE,,im a male whos obsessed with pantyhose,i wear them 24/7,over shaved legs,,openly in public,,
i see females all the time in shorts with everything hangin out,, but when they need to wear a dress they go and grab the “sausage casing” pantyhose and try to SQUEEEZE themselves into them,,no wonder they all complain about how they hate pantyhose,,LADIES go the next size up and try just a regular brand/pair of pantyhose,,leggs are NOT the only brand out there….
and dont give me this BS “its to hot for pantyhose”,,when you are in a business suit are you not working in an office setting???doesnt the building have AIR CONDITIONING?????

but i guess when they are showing off their “muffintops” in their pajama bottoms at the mall they realy show that they dont give a rip how UNSEXY they look to the rest of us who have to look,,(its like a train wreck) dont want to look but you just cant help it….these are my views and opinions,i could be wrong,but i doubt it….
