Mike & Chris Does Shoes

This one completely slipped under our radar: Mike & Chris does shoes! The street style meets chic label has expanded from fleece hoodies to leather hoodies to handbags and now to shoes. It’s a logical step for them and it’s good to see that they have retained their laid back yet put together vibe. The shoes feature signature details like the distressed leather, studs and grommets also seen in their hoodies. We love the unique curved wooden heel. It reminds us of the Prada Sfumata pumps seen on the Prada F/W 07 runway. Love the hidden platform too! Shopbop seems to be the only store carrying Mike & Chris footwear and two styles are already on sale at 30% off : the Balthazar Ruched Hidden Platform ($346.50) and the Townsend Hidden Platform Ankle Bootie ($402.50).

Hmmm. We wonder if they’ll have these at the next Mike & Chris sample sale. **crosses fingers**
