Gossip Girl Fashion: Serena’s Black Metal Studded Dress in School Lies
Gossip Girl has unexpectedly aired its last episode last week and ironically, the clothes seen in recent episodes are still around. We previously lamented that most of the fashion seen on the show are not available in stores anymore. Well here’s one that you can still buy. A few readers have asked us to identify this black metal studded dress that Serena van der Woodsen wore in “School Lies”, at her mother’s bethrotal to Chuck Bass’ dad.
Well the dress is surprisingly by Diane von Furstenberg, who is known for her printed, flowy and feminine dresses. The Everly embellished dress is a black sleeveless jersey dress with metal stud detailing and a zip fastening in front. It’s an amazing evening wear choice and great for a cocktail party. Wow that’s insanely expensive. Reiss has similar dresses on sale for under 200. I think I might have to stick to that. haha
