Marc Jacobs Fashion Week Promotional Bag

I was at Marc by Marc Jacobs on Melrose today when I spotted this canvas bag. It says “Fashion Week Promotional Bag” on one side and “Free with purchase of expensive handbag” on the other. Of course, the latter statement isn’t true (and I asked to be sure - you never know). It’s only $17 and available only at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores. Don’t you just love Marc’s cheeky sense of humor?

He did it last season and I think the season before that. But he’s never had the “free with…” part before, if I remember correctly.
Today I freaked out about the fact there were 5 MJ stores in the West Vil and that it’s just not needed. Especially since no one walked into the MJ handbag store in the hour I sat across the street having a 3pm brunch. Sad.

Funny you posted this b/c I JUST saw this in the very FIRST Marc by Marc Jacobs store that opened here in Chicago. LOVE!
