I just came back from the sample sale, it was a waste of time if you are looking for a good deal. They know they are getting popular now, so they have jacked up the prices once again. Some of the items were not that much cheaper than the regular prices. You could probably find cheaper things on ebay. Plus it was a zoo!

I know this is a little late but it might help for those thinking of going next time. I went Friday a little after 10:00. I wanted to get a couple leather jackets & maybe some fleece from the first few seasons when they were really big on those cute buttons. As I figured all the full length leather jackets were piled in the hands of the eager shoppers. I waited for the leftovers & there were plenty but none of the styles I wanted. They had the Grant in like every color & a lot of the Edward, Brets & Judes. There were also plenty Dannys & Colins & a couple Dicksons. As for the fleece/cotton, they were from newer seasons & I didn’t think anything was special. My friend came at 11:00 so I waited for her to go through the leftovers & she wasn’t impressed either. We left at 12:00 & if you didn’t get there until then you still could have gotten the same leather jackets everyone was trying on at 10:00. I didn’t think it was that crowded & everyone was polite. Personally I would rather pay full price for something I really wanted that hasn’t been manhandled then settle for something $200 less than retail. Also I am curious if anyone knows how the Edison jacket fits. That was what I was really after in Navy! I have the Maxwell & Donovan & I am a small in both. There was a girl who had on the Hugh at the M&C sale (which she said she bough for $58 at the Barneys sale) which is a bomber style like the Edison & she said it runs big. Anyway, to all that didn’t go, you didn’t miss anything!
