HI! SATC has been showing in Manila since the 28th. Saw the movie last night and I simply LOVED it! It was just hilarious, I really had a blast! :) Plus eye candy everywhere…fab bags, shoes and clothes! Fashion heaven!!! :)

Ok, I know I can’t win the goody bag since I’m like continents away but one of my favorite parts was when Carrie gave her assistant Louis (Jennifer Hudson) a killer bag! “You just gave Louis from St. Louis…a Louis Vuitton!”…That surely cracked me up! :)

      Love your blog! Cheers!

We are going to the movie next weekend. I’d watched most of the episodes, but we had to get my husband up to speed… so we downloaded season 6 and have been on a S&TC marathon! Can’t wait to see the movie!!

    11. Christine Look Says:

I am going to watch the movie tonight!

    12. Ashley K Says:

I saw it last night and I loved it! My favorite parts were when Samantha was feeding Carrie in bed in Mexico, after the Big breakup, and when Carrie finally came out of her “Mexicoma” and Samantha was like “oh Carrie you made a little joke!” hahah so great :) I am definitely going to see it again this week!

    13. Angela Says:

Watched it on opening day. I was contemplating on whether or not to dress up for the “event”. In the end, I decided to dress down but still wore my red patent Lanvin shoes…its all about the shoes since I was watching SATC.

I have 2 favorite scenes from the movie…first is the opening…love how they re-introduced the characters with Fergie on background music and second, when Carrie had the photo shoot for Vogue. Love, love all the looks.

Happy Sunday, I am so hoping to win your last goody bag! I have not went to see the movie because two of my closest friends are out of town! We made a pact to all see it together. I do know that our movie theater had a packed,
and I do mean packed, parking lot! Thanks,Cindi

    17. Joann Says:

Just watched this last night with a bunch of ladies. We had our very own SATC party after the movie also … cosmos, eats, cupcakes with “barbie shoes” on them, beauty give aways… it was fantastic. We all dressed up for the movie and took up two full rows in the theater. A full theater always makes for a great showing. Lots of shouts/hoots/hollers/awwws/oooohs.

My favorite scene was definitely the vogue wedding dress shoot. ALL THOSE GORGEOUS GOWNS! and… the CLOSET reveal! John James Preston did good on that part.

    18. Lexie Says:

I saw the movie on Friday and love, love, LOVED it!! My favorite part was when Charolette almost had an accident after drinking some of the Mexican shower water and made the girls die laughing as she was trying to get to the bathroom in time!

    19. Casie Says:

I saw the movie yesterday…It was so amazing. I teared up a few times, especially when Big didn’t show up. I am getting married in October and I can’t imagine the feelings she felt. Great movie, and I can’t wait to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

    20. Sarah M Says:

Saw it. Loved it, but can’t think of a favorite part. I know that I got distracted by all the product/names; I need to see it again.

    21. Cortney Says:

I can’t wait to see the movie and am bummed that I have to wait until next weekend. But I can’t wait to see what happens with everyone! SATC is my all-time favorite show.

    22. Katherine W Says:

My favorite part was definitely just seeing the girls back together! It was a throwback to the past where my girlfriends and I would park ourselves in front of the TV in sleeping bags and have SATC marathons.

    23. anjali r. Says:

My fave character has got to be Samantha. She’s the boldest and the funniest!

    27. Margarite Elaine Says:

Saw it and will see it again! Fantastic movie that surpassed my expectations. I’m so in love with all the fab clothes…too die for!

    28. Viv Says:

I have to say that the movie was the perfect coda to the story of these four girls for me. At the end of the series, I thought that the producers had taken four women, all of whom clearly had their own style when it came to men and love, and given them all classical ending! All of their mates at the end were unexpected and seemed to be the producer’s way of saying, “see you can have perfect loves, but they’re not always what you expect.”

The movie somewhat rectified that for me and sent the more mitigated message that, “Sometimes you find love, and it’s never ideal. The key is working through it.”

    29. Megan Says:

I have not seen it yet because I was out of town. I want to see it soon though!

    40. Helen Says:

I adored the movie and can’t wait until it comes out on DVD. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this movie for the past four years. The writers did a fantastic job of carrying the stories of these four women and I’m really satisfied with the ending. I hope there will be a sequel… :)

    41. Helen Says:

Oh yes, and my favorite part of the movie was when Big showed Carrie her new closet!

    42. Helen Says:

And the Vogue photoshoot! It’s hard to pick a favorite–I loved it ALL!

yes, i saw it on friday night and was so excited! while certainly enjoyed the movie, the plot line was a bit disappointing. my favorite part, besides all the fantastic fashion, was the scene when samantha fed carrie yogurt. such a touching moment.

    45. Elena Says:

I planned to go with my grrlz Friday night after work, we were meeting for margaritas at a new place & then supposed to head to the show…however, when The Margarita was placed in front of me and approximately THE SIZE OF MY HEAD, I knew we wouldn’t make it to the show!
I still want to go see SATC, though, and I’d REALLY like to win the gift bag!!!

    46. Mama Says:

I went with 6 other girlfriends on Friday night to watch the movie. I could not believe how much I enjoyed it. It was more than just the movie - it was the experience of being in a theater full of women (with a few men thrown in) who were all cheering and clapping and having a blast. The movie itself was almost secondary and I think that is what made it so special. It is a rare movie that comes out and brings women together in that way. I know I laughed… I teared up… and I cheered for each of the women in their triumphs. At times, the plot fell short, but, that was not a big deal to me. I was able to go, bond with my girls, and celebrate being a woman!!

    47. Elaine Says:

I saw the movie on Sunday and LOOOOVED it. I was fully absorbed in the movie, laughing and crying at so many parts. I had tears streaming down my face when Carrie was held up at the altar and confronted Big, bashing him with her flowers. Charlotte had actually been one of least favorites during the series, but my opinion has changed after the movie. Her loyalty and comedically dramatic performance was a scene-stealer (Her faces! And her one “I curse the day you were born!”) I am tempted to watch the movie again in theaters.

    48. Cindy Says:

I saw the movie Sunday night and I enjoyed it immensely. My favorite part was Carrie’s fabulous wedding that wasn’t. The part when she and Big met in the street was amazing and I thought the acting of all the characters was superb — I had goosebumps!

    49. Courtney Says:

I saw it opening night with my mom and sis. I loved it! My favorite was at the end, the look on Big’s face when he surprised Carrie with her girls. So Sweet.

    50. Samantha Says:

I watched the movie the day it came out and I loved it, but I do feel that a large portion of it was just so sad, and hard to watch! They could have made it a little more upbeat! I’m just glad they tied it all up nicely for the ending, in true SATC style.

    51. CrystalGB Says:

Sure will. :) I hope to get to see it soon.

    52. jourdan Says:

saw it last night with a bunch of girlfriends….absolutely AMAZING!! I’m going again next week. So many beautiful hand bags and fashion…simply breathtaking. I loved everything abou the movie. It seemed to be a little more serious and sad then the show, but it was ended amaingly and is the ultimate chick flick!!

    53. Ellee Says:

I loved Charlotte’s little girl Lily. She was so adorable. And her I loathe the day you were born expressions are priceless. As always, Samantha and her shenanigans were awesome also.

    54. Lee Says:

OK, I had to scroll down quickly to avoid spoilers. My mother is coming to babysit our two-year-old so my husband and I can finally go see it! I know most people see it as a girl’s-night-out, but my husband loves SATC…

    55. Kong Says:

i watched it with 3 other gfs and we were arguing over who should be who after the show! top choices were of cos carrie and samantha!

my favourite part of the show was when carrie wore her pearl necklace to bed with Big. i mean WHO would think of that?! its absolutely genius and she totally rocked it in her pjs! my inspiration!

    56. Sabrina Says:

I loved it!! Saw it on Friday night

Favorite parts: carrie’s clothing montage at the apartment and when charlotte pooped! HILARIOUS!

    57. Kathy Says:

didn’t see the movie, but plan to real soon! can’t wait!

    58. Geri Says:

Haven’t seen it yet but plan to soon!

    59. Melissa Says:

I loved the movie…but wasn’t thrilled with the way some of the plot lines ended. I was on the fence about how I felt for Miranda. I kept thinking I would be so hurt if it were me and I don’t know if I could forgive and forget. Also, I know we’re supposed to be happy for Samantha in the end, but I was on the fence. My favorite parts were the wedding dress photo shoot and the Charlotte “incident”…It was like one season in two and 1/2 hours. I kept chuckling because most of the people in the audience seemed to be seniors in high school or in college and I kept thinking…it’s great this appeals to them, but do they even have any clue what it’s like to be an adult dating? meeting men through friends and not at bars and parties? Watching marriages fall apart and friends have babies? Just a musing…they laughed at things I didn’t think were funny!
