Will You Embrace Black Lace?
One of the big trends we’ll be seeing this fall is black lace. You’ll have to thank, or blame, Miuccia Prada and a handful of designers who made use of the heavy black lace (called guipure lace) seen on the runway last February for this. Here are few items of note including false eyelashes by shu uemura (yes, you read that right). Black lace is beautiful to look at. Just remember not to overdo it by wearing it head to toe. And even if you’ve got gorgeous legs, stay miles away from these! Uggh!

omg this is “trend” is already starting in NY and I can’t handle it so far. I say no to lace, period. lace = the new leggings for me.

Yeah… not so sure about black lace. I’m short and brown, and black lace and I just don’t get along, lol! But those leggy pale-skinned gals sure can work it.

OMG. NOOOOOOOOOO. THE TORTURE! I can’t handle it. I saw it once on some one last year, before “the trend” and I wanted to vomit. I feel like Wolford has already been making it for years, people are actually going to start buying it. Fail all around. I was @ H&M in soho on Saturday with a friend and the knock offs are so bad. I saw the original Prada pieces in the windows and while they look luxurious, I can’t handle it. I just can’t!

i am seeing so much lace but i am still on the fence about it. a little bit of lace detail is savvy but all over, i just don’t know.

i agreed little bit of lace detail match with solid color is acceptable. but all over is too much ….
