Love! J.Crew Berry Trim Astrid Jacket
I walked into a J.Crew store last night and this Berry-trim Astrid jacket caught my eye. It’s still too warm to wear wool so I didn’t purchase it or even try it on. But the more I look at it, the more I want it!
J.Crew describes it best:
This dramatic little jacket has a crisply tailored silhouette and a lot of flair. The fabric is a very refined, midweight wool double- cloth from a 112-year-old Japanese mill. The distinctive appliqué trim features silk ruffles and meticulously crafted, stuffed cotton “berries.”
Great for work or play! The jacket also comes in plum (pictured below) and bright blue (which I haven’t seen yet) but I like it best in charcoal gray. So chic!

The blue is gorgeous in person and is the only color to have a matching skirt. The plum and gray do not. That was the selling point when I decided which color I might buy in the future. But like you said, it’s still too warm out for this great jacket. But the fall weather will come soon and hopefully, it be on sale by then!

I love the plum version but I think the charcoal would withstand the test of time. Great pick!
