Chanel RTW Spring/Summer 2009

Karl Lagerfeld promised a “truly magnificent” centerpiece for Chanel’s Spring 2009 prêt-à-porter collection and he certainly did not disappoint. A 35-foot replica of Chanel’s famous 31 Rue Cambon store façade set the stage at the Grand Palais in Paris, with a miniature street for the runway. “Our House” by Madness set the upbeat mood of the show. Love! Wish I was there. The finale dresses were gorgeous. I love the shopping bags, white quilted bag with side handles, jewelry and belts.
