Up to 70% off at Saks Designer Sale

Holy Cow! This sale is huge! Saks Fifth Avenue has marked designer merchandise at 40% off with an additional 50% off, which translates to 70% off. Prices are heavily discounted that there are/were amazing deals to be had. A $4K Bottega Veneta handbag was marked down to $1100. Chanel flats are $175 (orig $500+) pumps are $208 (orig $600+), Chanel ankle boots $328, YSL Muse $418 (orig $1295), $900 Louboutins are now $268, Louboutin Ron Ron pumps $180, Chloe Heloise $380/$420 (orig $1500+), Roger Vivier ballet flats $195, Prada Cervo Lux Bowler $448 (orig $1830), Gucci Pelham $645, Gucci wallets in the $100 range, Miu Miu pumps $144, Tory Burch Revas $63 (orig $225). Truly amazing prices! I thought the best deals would come the day after Christmas, and it isn’t even Black Friday yet. Run, don’t walk to your nearest Saks store. In the Beverly Hills store, where Victoria Beckham was spotted shopping yesterday, the shoes and handbag sections were reportedly cleared out of merchandise by Friday evening. Madison Avenue Spy reports that in NYC, which was a madhouse, a shopper bought 20-30 pairs of shoes.

Note that from November 20-24, you get 40% off. From November 25-December 7, get an additional 50% for up to 70% off from original prices. You can shop early for best selection now, then pick up your merchandise on Tuesday next week for the additional 50% discount, up to 70% off. I got conflicting reports that the additional 50% would run only until November 28 and not December 7. But at this point, most of the good stock are going quickly/most likely sold out so it’s best to check out your nearest Saks to be sure. They will not be restocking after this sale.

In the meantime, I’m going to have to return the black patent Triclo Louboutin pumps (pictured above) that I bought at full price at Neimans and see what I can score!

Update: The First Cut Designer sale starts at November 25 12AM ET through Friday, November 28 where you can save up to 70% off. This is online and in stores (good luck finding anything at this point in time but then you never know what you’ll find).

Warning: Saks Beverly Hills is stamping receipts from this sale as “Final Sale”, while other locations have stated a 60-day return policy. Apparently employees were told that items they personally buy are final sale but this rule does not apply to non-employees. So make sure that your receipt is not stamped final sale. Get them to confirm this if your SA insists.
