Chanel e-Exclusives Cruise 2008/9
Discover an exclusive and limited-edition selection of handbags, costume jewelry and accessories from Chanel’s 2008/9 Cruise Collection created by Karl Lagerfeld at chanel-exclusives.com, the first ever online Chanel boutique. There are nine items available ranging in price from $295-$3125 and all are available online only at chanel-exclusives.com and are not in stores. Most of the items in this collection feature the exclusive Cruise 2008/9 “Heart CC” metal signature hardware. Accessing the site is by invitation only (sorry for the late notice, I got mine on November 12) so let me know if you need the login and password and I’ll send it over to you right away. Note that this collection will be available for a limited time only and preview access may end soon.
With news that Chanel will be lowering prices in the U.S., the launch of their e-commerce site featuring trendy non-classic items seems a bit ill timed, don’t you think? (Admit it, the “Heart CC” hardware will look dated a few years from now.) Plus Chanel missed the boat in the chain/ribbon headband craze from three years ago (Granted, Chanel should have pioneered the trend being that their iconic ribbon interlaced chains were merely appropriated by “copycats”).
