Prada Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger
I’m looking forward to trying a new scent for spring. Perhaps Prada’s Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger will be the one? Due out in March, the fragrance is the first in a yearly series of limited edition scents called the Ephemeral Infusion Collection. It will be in stores for four months only.
Perfumer Daniela Andrier describes the scent as a “descendent” of Prada’s Exclusive Scent No. 4, Fleur d’Oranger and the house’s popular Infusion D’Iris women’s scent (the scent I wore all summer last year). Key notes for the new addition include orange blossoms, tuberose and jasmine. “There’s a joyful tenderness and colorfulness to Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger — it gives the impression of an orange, rather than being overpowering and heavy, as some orange scents can be,” said Andrier. “This has a very strong presence, but it’s a beautiful diffusion.”
Devout followers of Prada’s runway shows may recognize the black, green and pink floral print on the box from the fall winter 2003 RTW runway.
The eau de parfum will be available in three sizes: 1.7 oz, 3.4 oz, and 6.75 oz and will retail for $74, $100 and $135 in the U.S., respectively. The line includes a Hydrating Body Lotion, $52 for 8.5 oz, and a Perfumed Bath and Shower Gel, 33.8 oz for $50.
