J.Crew-centric Blogs

I seem to be ordering a lot from JCrew.com lately. It’s easier to find things I like that are in my size online than in a brick and mortar J. Crew store. Plus you can only shop their final sale online and if you know me, I can’t bear to pay full price. Not if I have to! Final sale items, however, can’t be returned.
In my desire to make sure I was shopping wisely, I discovered an abundance of J. Crew-centric blogs. It’s amazing to know that J. Crew has a lot of devoted fans who mainly shop and wait with bated breath for the latest and greatest at J. Crew – and don’t mind paying full price (unlike me, haha).
I’ve been intermittently following J. Crew Aficionada for sometime now and it’s become a source for the latest sales, new arrivals, catalogue scans, product reviews, alerts and even a weekly swap/sell/share exchange for J. Crew fans. Through JCA, as regulars fondly call the site, I discovered Fabulous Florida Mommy who creates outfits on Polyvore mainly with items from J. Crew. Then there’s Wardrobe Review, whose reviews on the Maggie Double Serge Jacket and the Ringspun Cotton Rosette Tee (pictured above) helped me decide on which sizes to get (and they fit perfectly!). Check out her fit and color glossary – very helpful indeed!
So online shopping for me is getting better than ever. I don’t waste my time calling around brick and mortar stores for styles and sizes or even going to the store to try on clothing. And I get exactly what I want. Many thanks to the gals behind these fabulous blogs!

Thanks for letting me know about this! I’m always trying to figure out sizing and whether something’s worth it or not when ordering online, so I’m sure this will help out a lot.
