TheOutnet.com Opens This Weekend

April 15th, 2009 Posted in Fab Shops

Vogue Daily reports that theoutnet.com, Net-a-Porter’s designer outlet store, is launching this weekend. Expect last season’s items at an average of 60% off the retail price on designer goods previously available on Net-A-Porter. An average of 60% off? Hmmm. I wonder if the discounts will ever reach up to 75%-80% off because that’s the norm with online shopping sites like Gilt, Rue La La and others. Saks Fifth Avenue also beat Net-A-Porter last season in current season sales so the items that you may see on theoutnet.com may be something you’ve already bought at an even better price. Still, the prospect of finding good deals will draw me in. I’ll be checking out theoutnet.com this weekend!

From Vogue Daily: Pictured above, clockwise from top: Chloe Ines box clutch, $690; Jill Stuart Lindsay cherry print dress, $232; Mawi Teardrop garland necklace, $172; Marni Green elasticated band ballet flats, $253; Michael Kors scarf, $88.
