for $75. FTBC is a worldwide charitable initiative of the Council of Fashion Designers of America/CFDA Foundation Inc. Since its launch in 1994, FTBC has raised over $40 million for breast cancer charities in 13 countries. WWD reports that “more products will be unveiled in the coming months from designers including Rachel Roy, Diane von Furstenberg and Oscar de la Renta. The net proceeds from all items purchased, whether in the U.S. or abroad, will stay in the customer’s country. The goal, according to a spokesman, is to raise more than $2 million after one year.”

Lord & Taylor has announced plans to launch a $10 million re-branding campaign this fall. Aimed to modernize the store’s image while celebrating its 181-year-old heritage, this new campaign will debut in mid-August and run through the Holiday Season.
The upscale department store’s shopping bags and boxes have undergone a transformation and will be introduced in the stores September 4th. Bearing the renowned script logo in gray on white, they have a bold orange/yellow interior, a stunning “sunrise” color, suggesting the East coast base of the store as well as a new day for Lord & Taylor as it reinvents itself for the 21st Century.
