December 22nd, 2007 | No Comments | Posted in Handbags, Shoes, Target

The Loeffler Randall for Target collection is now available online! The line was scheduled for release at select Target stores and online on December 30 so Christmas has come early for those who were anticipating this collection. If you plan to purchase online, get 10% off with code TGAFLETJ or TGTAFT7R with $50 minimum purchase through December 30. I think I’ll wait to see them in person. My favorite are the brown patent cinch flats. What’s yours?

The Loeffler Randall for Target collection will be available thru March 23, 2008. Thanks Megan for the tip!

Erin Fetherston for Target Out Soon!

November 12th, 2007 | 5 Comments | Posted in Target

I thought I was getting jaded about designer-mass retailer collaborations (see Roberto Cavalli for H&M). But seeing this two minute spot on MTV while watching The Hills tonight renewed my enthusiasm that I’m actually anticipating the Erin Fetherston for Target collection coming out on November 18. That’s the official date the line gets released in stores but we all know that they could be out earlier than that. The countdown begins!

Update: Target.com has a few items and sizes available already. Also, I found a store that has them! I’ll report back later. Update 2: Well, the store only had a few pieces out. I thought the red silk charmeuse dress was gorgeous and well made but it was ill fitting in the bust area. The black wool coat with hearts was impressive as well but again, was ill fitting and the hearts were too whimsical for me. It had no hidden side pockets either, which are a must for me. I’ve come to the conclusion that this line is best suited for tall girls. I haven’t tried looking for the rest of the collection. It turns out that I wasn’t as excited about it than I thought I was!

Alice Temperley For Target Now in Stores and Online

September 16th, 2007 | 7 Comments | Posted in Target

Although there have been sightings in the past few days, the Alice Temperley for Target line officially debuts in stores and online today. I can’t say that I’ve been eyeing anything in particular and early reviews panning the collection hasn’t made me keen on rushing out for anything. The silhouette of this cropped jacket looks interesting though. A-line sleeves were spotted at the recent runway shows in New York. I’ll need to swing by a store later to personally check it out. If you plan to order online, use code TGTENTZYTCTARGETWELC for 10% off and get free shipping with a $50 or more purchase. You know the drill: the line departs on November 17.

Jovovich-Hawk for Target

September 1st, 2007 | 3 Comments | Posted in Target

Get ready for Jovovich-Hawk for Target in Spring 2008. L.A. Times reports:

“Our Target line will have all our classic pieces: smock dresses, tunics, minis, all vintage-inspired, great prints,” Jovovich said. “We took the things that sold the best for us but we’re doing it on a bigger scale. To be able to do it with a big company that can afford to do it for a good price so that real girls can afford it. That’s the reason we were interested.”

Milla plans to shoot the TV commercial for the Target Jovovich-Hawk collection in Los Angeles this winter and have it shown during the New York Mercedes Benz Fall ‘08 Fashion Week in February.

Are you looking forward to this?

Thanks to Nicole for the tip!

Loeffler Randall for Target

Still another reason to love Target: FWD reports that Loeffler Randall designer Jessie Randall has collaborated with the mass retailer to create an accessories line that will debut in early 2008. The 2007 CFDA Swarovski Award winner joins the ranks of accessories designers Rafé New York, Devi Kroell, Hollywould and Dominique Cohen in partnering with Target. Loeffler Randall is known for glamorous shoes reflecting a luxe, art-deco inspired aesthetic that have attracted the attention of fashion editors and film stars from coast to coast. They have also branched out to handbags and clothing which are just as sumptuous. No word yet on whether the collection will feature handbags or shoes (hopefully both!) but lucky editors will get to preview the line today. You can be sure that we’ll post photos as soon as they are released!

Boots No7 Restore & Renew Now in Target and CVS

August 22nd, 2007 | No Comments | Posted in Beauty, Target

Boots No. 7 Restore & Renew recently became widely available via Target and CVS Pharmacies nationwide. Known across the pond as Protect & Perfect, Britain’s #1 anti-aging sensation caused a buying frenzy in the U.K. a few months ago. The difference between the U.K. vs. the U.S. versions is a slight molecular variation due to FDA regulations, but studies show that they are equivalent. Backed by independent scientists, regular use of this beauty serum will renew your complexion, restore radiance and help to reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles in just 4 weeks. Concentrated levels of its unique antioxidant complex and skin-firming pro-retinol complex boost and maintain skin’s elasticity. No wonder it’s called a “miracle serum”. I managed to get a tube last week to try it out. It felt a bit thick in the summer heat but it glides on smoothly and made my skin soft to touch. During the first few days of use, my skin felt a bit tacky to touch after application (probably due to temps at 101 degrees) but after several days using it night and day, my skin now feels soft and smooth. So far, so good. I’ll give it a month and see what happens. Retails $21.99 for a 1 fl. oz tube.

Dominique Cohen for Target Debuts in Stores Today

Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Dominique Cohen’s line for Target debuts in stores today. Dominique has become a fashionista favorite for her classic, elegant and feminine designs. Her collaboration with Target allowed her to create pieces perfect for the multiple layered look that her fans have come to love. Find pearls, cameos, silk tie necklaces, bows, and bangles among others. My favorite is this Lace-Covered Bead Necklace which is reminiscent of Lanvin’s tulle covered pearls .

The Dominique Cohen for Target collection will be available nationwide from August 19, 2007 through February 3, 2008, at select Target stores and Target.com. Prices range from $14.99 to $59.99.

Devi Kroell for Target Launches Today

The Devi Kroell for Target handbag collection is in stores today. There are five styles in different colors with 15 items total in the collection. Judging from the photo above, the goldtone tote looks like a winning piece. I have yet to see this collection in person so I can’t really say anything about the quality of the faux snakeskin. I already preordered some pieces and should receive them anytime soon. View the complete collection here. Get free shipping when you order $50. Use code TGTAFLAE for 10% off your order.
