Sex and The City The Movie Giveway, Week 3

I started watching Season 6 DVDs last night to catch up on where Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda left off when the TV series ended. It’s one more week til the movie premiere!

This week, we’re giving away another SATC goodie bag. All you need to do is leave a comment below with your answer to the question: Whose wardrobe do you covet the most? Sex and The City: The Movie

They’re baaack! Sex and the City: The Movie has started filming this week and I’m keen on seeing what Patricia Field has come up in the wardrobe department. Never one to follow trends, the award winning stylist and fashion designer made Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik household names. I would love to see emerging designers and fashion not yet seen on the runway. So far, we’re seeing Dior heels from Spring 2007. Pat Field liked her Dior shoes so much, she had Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie, wear them on the first day of filming. Charlotte’s polka dot dress is from Oscar De La Renta’s 2007 Resort Collection and bag (pictured above) is by Chanel, Samantha’s red patent bag is by Fendi, Carrie’s quirky Eiffel Tower bag is by Timmy Woods and hatbox is from Lock & Co Hatters London. Can anyone ID the rest? The movie is set to be released on May 30, 2008.

The Devil Wears Prada

The Daily Fashion Report counters WWD’s scathing review of the film The Devil Wears Prada, due to be released on June 30.

We don’t know if WWD saw the same movie we did, but we think “The Devil Wears Prada” accomplishes a rare feat. And, for the record, the editors and “insiders’ we spoke to after the screening we attended agree. The much anticipated film (which is a huge improvement on the infamous and best-selling book by Lauren Weisberger upon which it is based) captures the true insider’s view of fashion magazines ….
