As if the fifty feet of catwalk models normally tread across wasn’t enough, Fashion Indie has decided to take the term “runway” to a whole new level with a recording setting fashion show across the Brooklyn Bridge; being held Tuesday, September 2nd at 6pm.
This once in a lifetime event will be the official kick off to Fashion Indie Week Brooklyn.
On September 2, 2008, Fashion Indie will be hosting the “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” fashion show, a sneak peek into the collections that the Fashion Indie Week Brooklyn designers plan to show during fashion week. Expect select items from Brooklyn Royalty, Love Brigade, Zulema Griffin, Mandate of Heaven, New York Couture and San & Soni to hit the bridge next Tuesday. With six thousand feet of runway, there will ample time to get full coverage of the event from anywhere on the bridge.
“Fashion Indie is known for being outlandish and over the top, and this is no exception,” said Fashion Indie’s leader Daniel Saynt, “We want our fashion week to be extravagant, unorthodox, and influential.”
